This role is responsible for the facilitation and execution of all non-technical contractual items pertaining to event performances at the Avalon Theater and the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The job involves: Responsible for the coordination of all non-technical Tour requirements. Act as Tour Liaison from arrival through to departure in accordance with contracted venue representative mandate. Assist the Entertainment Programs Department with a variety of special projects. Delegate and negotiate with other departments and outside vendors. Prepare and issue entertainer orientation packages. Enforce terms of contract governing performance prior to monetary settlement with responsible artist designate. Prepare profit & loss reports and critical analysis of each performance. Accurately track all programs expenses associated with a particular act. Perform administrative duties such as composing and generating correspondence, attend meetings and prepare minutes. Effectively communicate via approved channels with all stakeholders current statuses, plans of action and expected outcomes associated with a particular act. Work safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties Act as an ambassador on behalf of Niagara Casinos to promote the property/venue Physical demands associated with this position include long periods of standing, extensive walking, ability to lift up to 50lbs Must thrive with an unconventional work schedule; fluctuating shift lengths including evenings and weekends. Must be able to work in/around loud and crowded environments The ideal candidate has: College Diploma or equivalent work related experience. Minimum 1- 3 years progressive experience in the field of live entertainment/special events. Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Outlook, Adobe). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent judgment and ability to work in a high-pressure environment as well as demonstrated attention to detail.
