Position Overview Autodesk builds software that empowers creators in architecture, engineering, manufacturing, media, and entertainment to design and make a better world. As a Machine Learning Developer Intern, you'll collaborate with Autodesk's AI and data science teams to develop intelligent systems that enhance design automation, generative workflows, and predictive analytics across Autodesk's product ecosystem. This internship offers hands-on experience applying machine learning to impactful, real-world challenges. Responsibilities Design, train, and evaluate ML models in collaboration with AI engineers and researchers Collect, preprocess, and analyze both structured and unstructured data Develop and prototype ML solutions using Python and modern frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) Contribute to integrating and deploying ML models in Autodesk's cloud environments. Stay current on AI/ML research and tools to bring innovative ideas to the team Document methodologies, experiments, and findings clearly Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field Proficient in Python and ML libraries , Deep Learning (PyTorch) and Classical ML Solid understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering Experience with data cleaning, visualization, and optimization techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with deep learning, computer vision, or NLP and MCP Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS(preferred), Azure) About the Canada Intern Program The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (May 4th – August 21st, 2026).
