About the Role
We’re looking for a permanent full-time Receptionist/Junior Administrative Assistant to join our Kamloops office. The ideal candidate will have a positive and friendly attitude and provide our clients with exceptional service. As a Receptionist/Junior Administrative Assistant at TRUE, you’ll be joining a collaborative, diverse team in an inspiring work environment. We’re large enough to offer the resources and opportunities of a multifaceted company, yet small enough to maintain a family-like atmosphere where each person’s contribution is valued.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answering and directing phone calls
Sorting, processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and courier
Ordering and upkeep of office supplies
Providing support to administrative staff
Running office errands
Ensuring common areas are kept tidy and stocked as needed
Managing incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
Maintaining and reconciling petty cash
Filing and scanning documents
Printing and binding documents and drawings
Preparing correspondence and contract documents
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, strengths, and interests:
Positivity and enthusiasm
Professional and friendly telephone manner
Experience with multi-line switchboard
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Strong verbal and written communication skills both on the phone and in person
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Post-secondary Administrative Assistant certificate or diploma, or related experience considered an asset
A strong work ethic and commitment to the role
Attention to detail and quality in your work
A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required
Salary
The hourly rate for this position is $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
