The opportunity Reporting to the Manager in Tax Operations, the Tax Specialist is responsible for handling transactions and reporting with various levels of complexity. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding to the inquiries in a timely and professional manner, to the satisfaction of the client, Canada Revenue Agency legislation, and Manulife policies. As part of a high performance team, the Taxation Specialist handles a specified level of cases without escalating them to the Tax Manager. Responsibilities Reviews and/or processes received transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Provide excellent service to internal and external clients, whether emails, phone calls or correspondence. Respond to inquiries received from internal and external clients, after appropriate research and analysis. To do this, find the best way to solve the problem and accurately process the necessary operations. Plan and implement manual year-end tax reporting requirements Collaborates with teams located in various offices to achieve dynamic volumes and meet service standards. Demonstrates a positive attitude in finding solutions to problems. Contribute to the optimization of service efficiency by suggesting process improvements.
