The role
As a Social Media & External Communications Manager, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role responsibilities
Social Media & Brand Storytelling
Develop and execute a global social media strategy that builds brand awareness, credibility, and differentiation in the enterprise market.
Create and curate engaging content tailored for B2B decision-makers across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and industry-specific platforms.
Partner with sales and account teams to amplify case studies, success stories, and client wins.
Track analytics and deliver insights that demonstrate ROI, lead-gen contribution, and brand sentiment improvements.
Executive Social Positioning
Build tailored social strategies for Valtech executives (LinkedIn, industry forums, and speaking platforms).
Ghostwrite and edit thought leadership posts, articles, and commentary to strengthen executive visibility.
Amplify executives’ participation in events, panels, podcasts, and media engagements.
Coach and advise executives on digital presence, tone, and engagement best practices.
External Communications & Enterprise Market Engagement
Support PR efforts and amplify any coverage in business, technology, and industry outlets.
Create soial content in relation to press releases, commentary, and bylined articles
Build and maintain strong relationships across social media with journalists, analysts, and industry influencers.
Support enterprise sales by aligning communications with client priorities, ensuring messaging resonates with C-suite decision-makers.
Reputation Management
Support corporate reputation initiatives and advise leadership on communications strategies
Monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity to proactively shape messaging.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
5+ years of experience in B2B communications, enterprise marketing, or agency experience with enterprise clients.
Proven track record in social media strategy for corporate/executive positioning.
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills tailored to executive and enterprise audiences.
Experience managing PR/analyst relationships and securing meaningful media placements.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in social listening, analytics, and media monitoring tools.

This is a Full time position based in Montreal, Quebec.
Valtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service:
A comprehensive insurance plan, where you can choose the module that best suits your needs—Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The employer may contribute up to 80% of your coverage depending on the selected module. This plan includes short- and long-term disability coverage.

A retirement plan where Valtech will match 100% of your RRSP contributions through a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), up to a maximum of 4%. You can start contributing to your RRSP immediately, and to the DPSP after 3 months. The vesting of the DPSP will be after a 24 months of service.
