About the Role
The Campus Services Initiatives Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a University-wide modernization of SFU's Campus Card program and other projects for Campus Services. This includes the integration of technologies for identification, access control, payments, and mobile credentials. The role enhances the student and community experience by delivering a seamless, secure, and user-friendly campus card system that supports daily campus life and improves access to essential services. The role enhances the SFU community experience and creates inter-unit efficiencies by providing oversight to the planning and implementation of new and improved processes. The projects enhance Campus Services technology solutions and measures to improve operational efficiency.
Full Job Description
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business or a related field and 5 years of experience managing complex projects, designing and delivering training or teaching experience, preferably in a work or education setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead consultations, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Policy and SOP Development.
Proven ability to develop and implement policies, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks that ensure secure and consistent service delivery across departments.
Understanding of SFU Student Experience.
Excellent understanding of how students interact with services across campus and of their expectations of technology.
