Position Overview
Discover Energy Systems (DES) is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the company’s marketing operations across business development, digital, partner, and event channels. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, social media and web content management, event management (tradeshows, webinars, etc.), digital marketing strategy development/execution, supporting our sales, product and channel teams through the creation of integrated marketing campaigns, and collaborating with DES’ marketing agency partner.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — capable of developing cohesive marketing plans while also managing day-to-day content, campaigns, trade shows, and partner deliverables. This position will play a critical role in elevating DES’s visibility as a leading provider of advanced LiFePO4 energy storage solutions across residential, and commercial & industrial markets.
Role Responsibilities
Website & Digital Content Management — Oversee website updates, landing pages, SEO optimization, and product page refreshes to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with Sales Development and Product Marketing to create sales prospecting cadences targeting Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP).
Social Media Presence & Campaign Execution — Manage DES’s LinkedIn and other social platforms, posting consistent content, engaging industry audiences, and tracking engagement metrics.
Trade Show & Event Coordination — Plan and execute DES’s presence at industry events (e.g., RE+), including logistics, booth assets, vendor coordination, and post-event lead follow-up.
Agency Management — Serve as the primary point of contact for DES’ external marketing partner to ensure effective and accurate reporting on marketing performance analytics. and timely delivery of high-quality creative assets.
Partner & Co-Marketing Coordination — Develop joint marketing initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and webinars with inverter and technology partners.
Translate approved product positioning and messaging into compelling go-to-market tools (sell sheets, presentations, digital assets), supporting content creation resources to ensure high-quality execution.
Thought Leadership — Identify speaking and content opportunities for DES team members to strengthen market leadership.
Asset & Brand Management — Maintain an organized digital brand library including logos, templates, product photography, and marketing collateral.
Market Research & Insights — Track competitive activity, market trends, and customer insights to inform positioning and strategy.
Internal Communication Support — Maintain a marketing intranet/Teams library for sales and internal access to up-to-date materials.
Manage DES commercial tech stack; oversee CRM and sales automation tools including HubSpot, Apollo.io, Ohm Analytics, etc.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
5+ years of marketing experience. Familiarity with renewable energy, BESS, or adjacent technology sectors is a plus.
Proven track record managing sales and marketing campaigns, websites, and social media for B2B audiences.
Experience with marketing automation platforms.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
Excellent presentation, written and communication skills.
Proficiency with M365 and HubSpot (or other CRM platforms).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Bonus: Eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary.
