Who we need
VFX Production Coordinator works with Producers, Manager, and Supervisors to track and manage workflow through departments, meeting internal and external deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
Workflow Management: Tracking and managing the flow of work across departments.
Meeting Coordination: Organizing daily rounds, accurately documenting notes, assisting with task allocation, and following up to ensure timely completion.
Review Process: Preparing and submitting shots/playlists for review to Show Leads and Supervisors, maintaining accurate ShotGrid statuses, updating playlists, and generating comprehensive weekly reports.
Record Keeping: Promptly acknowledging receipt of packages and meticulously maintaining records.
Progress Monitoring: Continuously tracking tasks and communicating with artists to ensure timely completion of assigned shots and that all shots are added to review playlists before dailies.
Communication Hub: Facilitating effective communication between Supervisors, Leads, Artists, and other departments.
Problem Anticipation: Proactively identifying and communicating potential issues to Producers and Supervisors to expedite problem resolution.
Positive Environment: Contributing to a positive, upbeat, and professional production environment by being proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
What you bring
We are looking for an VFX Production Coordinator with the following experience and skills:
At least 2+ years of experience working in a VFX production environment, with a strong understanding of production workflows and team dynamics.
Proficient in ShotGrid (formerly Shotgun) — confident in creating, tracking, and managing tasks, playlists, and shot progress across departments.
Passionate about the world of film, television, and visual storytelling.
Solution-oriented and able to work graciously and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating challenges before they arise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player with a collaborative and positive mindset.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good to have:
Basic understanding of live-action and CG-based visual effects workflows.
Previous experience as a Junior Production Coordinator or Production Assistant.
What happens next
After we receive your application , it will be reviewed by the Talent Acquisition team and the Hiring Manager. We will then invite successful candidates to an Interview (~60 mins) with the Hiring Manager. All interviews are conducted via Google Meet.
