About the Role:
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of our sales team. You’ll partner with Account Executives to understand client needs, deliver tailored product demos, and design solutions that solve complex business problems. Your ability to translate complex customer requirements into compelling business value will be key to winning deals and building lasting customer relationships.
The Sales Engineer should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal structure while also being able to identify and execute on opportunities to create structures that will benefit the department and organization.
Responsibilities:
Discovery: Collaborate with account executives to identify customer pain points and craft tailored solutions based on in-depth knowledge of the company and their business processes
Product Demonstrations: Develop high quality presentations and deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to the requirements of prospects and customers, showcasing the business value of the Conexiom Platform
Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted advisor during the pre-sales process, addressing technical questions and objections, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders from the customer as well as internal teams
Product Feedback: Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and requirements to help drive forward product enhancements
Pre-Sales Support: Assist in preparing and delivering commercial proposals and response to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) responses, proof-of-concept deployments, and solution architecture
Continuous Learning: Stay current on product updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape, including how the Conexiom platform is leveraging AI to enhance the customer experience and value achieved by our customers
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or similar roles across SMB and Enterprise accounts. Experience with Commercial Accounts is an asset.
Experience working with market leading ERPs, CRMs, Commerce Platforms, and an understanding of order to cash business processes in B2B preferred
Proven ability to tailor a value proposition to address specific customer challenges and business objectives, skillfully translating features and functionality into tangible business value
Strong technical acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals or KPI’s
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
A customer-first mindset, strong analytical skills and a passion for solving problems
Skilled at fostering collaboration across departments to ensure successful delivery of customer-centric solutions
