CanaDream is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support our Operations Support Manager in keeping our national day-to-day office operations running smoothly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, internal communications, and document preparation.
Mail & Courier Handling: Help receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare and track outgoing shipments.
Office Supplies: Monitor inventory and assist with ordering, organising and distributing supplies.
Uniform Coordination: Organize, track, distribute, and maintain the documentation of staff uniforms.
Event Support: Coordinate office social events and activities and assist in arranging and organizing corporate level events.
Travel Assistance: Assist with booking travel and tracking related expenses.
Fleet Support: Provide support for fleet movements and monitor related expenses.
Team Collaboration: Support team members to support various projects and tasks as requested
Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
• High School Diploma required; post-secondary coursework in Business Administration is an asset.
• 2-3 years of experience in an office or customer service environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
• Office-based role with regular interaction with staff and guests.
• Use of computers and office equipment required.
• Some heavy lifting may be required
• May involve repetitive tasks and extended periods of sitting and standing.
• Occasional overtime may be requested.
