As a Financial Services Officer, and under the supervision of the Finance Business Partner, your primary role will be to provide administrative and operational support in the management of student accounts and payments. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, managing payments, ensuring rigorous account follow-up, and ensuring that students are informed of the college's financial policies and procedures. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of financial information and facilitate the payment process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage student inquiries regarding their financial accounts, including tuition fees, payments, refunds, and any questions related to their file;
Process and track student payments, prepare and send statements of account, and ensure compliance with established policies;
Make payment arrangements with students, analyze cases rigorously and exercise professional judgment;
Track payment arrangements using Excel reports and ensure clear documentation of communications;
Communicate payment reminders and maintain a proactive relationship with the student population;
Follow up on overdue payments, send them to the external collection service (D&A) and manage the required follow-ups;
Prepare regular financial reports on the status of student accounts and collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues;
Perform all other related tasks related to student financial services.
REQUIREMENTS
Hold a degree in accounting, financial management or a related field;
Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role or in financial services management;
Fluency in the French language (oral and written);
Proficiency in the English language at a professional level (oral and written).
This role involves frequent interactions with internal and external customers and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
