About the Role
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the HR function across the organization, including recruitment, training and development, employee relations, legal and regulatory compliance, health and safety, and compensation and benefits.
You will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing effective HR policies and programs, while driving strategic initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, support succession planning, and foster organizational growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
Management & Leadership
Provide expert leadership and direction to the HR team, overseeing all HR operations including recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and health and safety.
Partner with leadership to understand business strategy and growth objectives, aligning HR initiatives to support organizational goals.
Develop, evaluate, and administer company policies and procedures in compliance with human rights legislation, provincial regulations, and employment standards.
Lead the design and implementation of an effective HR strategy that supports the organization’s continued expansion.
Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy managers on complex employee relations matters.
Serve as the primary liaison with third-party benefits providers.
Manage the annual HR budget and ensure effective use of resources.
Collaborate with senior leadership on organization-wide projects and initiatives.
Transactional HR Operations
Oversee the posting of job vacancies and timely coordination of interviews.
Administer annual job evaluations and compensation review processes.
Partner with the finance team to audit payroll, benefits, and related reconciliations.
Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure cost-effective and compliant HR services, including benefits and WCB.
Prepare and oversee annual performance management packages and coach leaders on the process.
Reporting & Analytics
Analyze and report on key HR metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of total compensation and benefits programs.
Oversee systems and reporting for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and safety.
Compliance
Ensure all HR practices comply with applicable legislation and WCB requirements across multiple provinces.
Coordinate and prepare HR-related information for annual external audits.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Manager role.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience using Dayforce (HRIS System).
CPHR designation is an asset.
Proven experience developing and administering total compensation and employee benefits programs (including RRSP and DPSP) is a strong asset.
Experience & Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HRIS software (Ceridian Dayforce).
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to influence and lead change.
Proven experience in change management and leadership development is an asset.
Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required.
