What are your contributions to the team?
Reporting to the Manager of the Engineering Skills Management (ESM) team, you will play a key role in fulfilling our mission: "Successfully implement initiatives and tools that support knowledge management and transfer, professional development, and career exploration within the engineering community," with the goal of achieving our long-term vision: "Empowering engineering employees to meet the challenges of tomorrow.’’
Contribute to the development and implementation of the engineering talent management roadmap, covering engineering organizations involved in new program development, in-service programs, the aftermarket aircraft market, and the defense sector.
Take the role of Deployment and Communication focal of the team aligned with change management best practices.
Lead strategic initiatives with a focus on developing a global integrated Engineering Training Program easily usable by the community.
Influence, align and integrate cross-functional learning initiatives to ensure consistency with the overall engineering vision and organizational objectives.
Influence and align the development of the new corporate Learning Management System to the Engineering Needs and our strategic vision.
Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of engineering talent management initiatives.
Provide data-driven analyses and present concrete recommendations to the leadership team to support decision-making.
How to thrive in this role?
You hold a bachelor’s degree or a relevant diploma. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) would be an asset.
You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the industry.
You have experience at Bombardier or possess a solid understanding of engineering environment.
You have expertise in project planning (creation, execution, and schedule tracking) and can communicate progress at all management levels.
You possess excellent communication skills and organization skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic and evolving environment.
You are capable of informally leading teams to achieve objectives and promoting teamwork through networking.
You delegate effectively while maintaining overall accountability for achieving goals.
You are autonomous, motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.
You have strong computer skills, are proficient in MS Office, have intermediate knowledge of Excel, and are familiar with Power BI. Experience with creating and managing SharePoint pages is an asset.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
