Areas of responsibility include test analysis, development, and certification testing of FUSION Software Releases. Ensure the integrity of the System Certification Test process for Surveillance products. Work closely with technologists and developers in an Agile software development environment to verify the software and participate in defect management activities. Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release including through following all applicable safety and quality standards and processes. Job Requirements Education: Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with specialization in computer science or systems engineering OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in system testing, test engineering principles and validation of complex real-time systems for both Linux based Software and Hardware. Experience writing test documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Strategies, Test Reports etc.) Experience conducting functional and non-functional testing. Experience using requirement management tools such as JAZZ, and DOORS. Knowledge: Knowledge of system test plans, testing methodologies, testing tools and testing techniques. Knowledge of the certification process of mission critical systems. Knowledge of Linux based Systems including the technology maintenance processes, procedures and business functions. Knowledge of safety mission critical software applications and systems. Abilities: Ability to satisfy operational requirements and Air Navigation System (ANS) Technology objectives by analyzing requirements and prepare appropriate System Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts. Ability to provide accurate effort estimates, track schedule, and provide timely reports. Ability to quickly understand customers’ needs and knowledgeably discuss test/requirements issues with tact. Ability to troubleshoot, solve complex problems and to define & implement practical solutions. Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
