What are your contributions to the team?
Develop configuration management plans for ground test rigs for new development programs and audit their compliance.
Prepare configuration control documentation for ground test rigs and experimental flight test aircraft installations in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Act as a configuration authority, influence stakeholders, build strong relationships and actively contribute to the development of the Experimental organization.
Update configuration management practices on Bombardier Manual and define requirements to optimize tools and databases used in the Experimental environment.
Manage priorities effectively in complex environments and confidently present configuration status to management teams.
Play a key role within Bombardier Experimental by contributing to the success of unique and high-impact projects.
How to thrive in this role?
University or technical degree in a related field, with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in configuration management within the aerospace sector.
Strong knowledge of configuration management principles in aerospace as well as mechanical, electrical design, manufacturing, and quality processes.
Good understanding of technical and regulatory requirements in aerospace
Experience in ground test rigs, simulation, and preparation of flight test aircraft
Ability to navigate with product databases and efficiently extract technical documents.
Recognized leadership within multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and demonstrate judgment, responsibility, and team spirit.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and confidently present to management teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
Eligibility for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGD).
