NATURE AND SCOPE
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Student Success, the Proctor-Final Exams ensures the integrity, fairness, and the proper functioning of final exams. The Proctor-Final Exams acts as a representant of the Associate Dean, Student Success during the final exam period and is responsible for enforcing academic policies, monitoring student conduct, and providing support to faculty and staff during final exams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the development of the Final Exam Invigilation Plan and the required related documentation
Ensures the training of invigilators and helps coordinate invigilator schedules, as needed
Maintains a clear and efficient communication with invigilators as well as internal and external staff and addresses student questions or concerns during the exam
Provides information about the emergency procedures and ensures compliance with the safety and security regulations
Monitors the exam room to ensure exam integrity and compliance with College examination rules as well as related instructions
Prepares and ensures the delivery and replenishment of exam material including forms, exam booklets, reports, first aid and other material to all exam rooms
Ensures the proctoring of the main exam room and whenever necessary, for any of the other rooms where final exams are taking place
Reports and documents infractions committed by students to the Associate Dean, Student Success
Reports and documents instances of invigilator absences or other issues to the Associate Dean, Student Success
Completes the final exam report, including any recommendations on the organization of the final exams.
Performs other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
DEC (College Diploma)
Prior experience in an academic administration setting or exam proctoring is an asset
Full professional proficiency in both English and French (testing may be required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
One (1) years of experience in education, preferably at the college level
