What are your contributions to the team?
Our team is responsible for the development of the structural analysis tools used on our Global & Challenger business aircraft.
Work within Core engineering at Bombardier
Support the development of a python based automatic finite element mesher.
Participate to the definition and optimization of the standardized structural stress tools of Bombardier
Integrate third-party in-house application to increase efficiency of developed tool.
Propose solution to solve problems related to structural stress optimisation.
Development of a GUI to improve end user experience.
How to thrive in this role?
You are enrolled in a computer science or mechanical engineering degree.
You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0 and over).
You are familiar with Siemens tools (NX, Sim Center 3D, Team Center) is a plus.
You are familiar with C++, C# and Visual Studio suite is a plus.
You have experience with software application testing and debugging
You are knowledgeable of object-oriented programming methods.
You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic.
You are available for an extension or a longer internship (8 month)
