Based in Montreal, the Commercial Sales Executive will drive growth by selling Vortex’s innovative aquatic play products and solutions across Canada. This is a dynamic role where you’ll generate new business, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and close unique, creative projects — all while collaborating with a talented multi-disciplinary team also based in Montreal, Canada.
Successful Sales Executives at Vortex are self-motivated, strategic, and consultative sellers. They combine strong presentation skills with genuine curiosity, using their understanding of customer needs to deliver customized, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business for Vortex aquatic play solutions (Splashpads, Poolplay, Water Management Systems, etc.)
Act as a trusted sales and technical consultant to clients
Collaborate with customers to design tailored water play experiences
Partner with inside sales to prepare accurate, timely proposals
Educate architects, landscape architects, and commercial clients on Vortex solutions
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry influencers
Participate actively in sales meetings and planning sessions
Travel across Canada with occassional travel to the US. 
Qualifications
3–5 years of field sales experience, ideally with complex, consultative solutions
Bachelor’s degree required
Advanced level of English is required
Experience or network in hospitality or recreation industries is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to build strong client relationships and close deals
Organized, goal-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Strong business acumen and customer focus
Quick learner who welcomes feedback and leverages CRM tools effectively
Ability to grasp the technical aspects of our products.
Proficiency in English is required for this role as approximately 40% of the responsibilities involve regular communication with stakeholders based across Canada and in the United States.
