At Amilia, we’re experiencing rapid growth, and looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Under the guidance of our Director of Finance, you’ll participate in the full accounting cycle and support financial processes for our Canadian and U.S. entities.
This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping—you’ll ensure accurate entries, timely reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements that keep our finance operations running smoothly.
You'll be responsible for:
Own the Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage the flow of invoices, expense reports, and payments. Ensure accurate coding and timely entries in our accounting system while learning the inner workings of operational finance.
Reconcile and Review: Take charge of monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, developing the critical eye and attention to detail that every great accountant needs.
Support Month-End & Year-End Close: Work side-by-side with senior accountants to prepare journal entries, reports, and supporting documentation.
Tax & Compliance: Prepare documentation for tax credits (CDAE, R&D) and assist with external audits and other compliance-related activities.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Help document and streamline accounting procedures, and get involved in automation projects that make our processes smarter and faster.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work with vendors and clients to resolve administrative items and engage internally in cross-department initiatives.

What we want from you:
DEC or BComm in Accounting or related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Netsuite is an asset.
Bilingual (French & English).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proactivity in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools.
