About the role:
Rawson Group are searching for a skilled Estimator, Masters and Systems Management. This unique role will sit outside of Production and Sales Estimating teams, where your focus will be on the back-office analysis of estimating, deployment of new processes in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), display homes BOQ’s cost analysis & system maintenance. You will partner with internal & external teams on new master designs, reviewing BOQ’s refreshing & updating them, following feedback from Construction Teams, ETS', design or product changes.
The role oversees production of BOQ’s, management, updates & creating a database of items based of specifications/upgrades for our modern display homes. You will be point of contact for display homes & coordinate overrun orders. You will provide the Estimating Manager with sales pricelists, reports and cost analysis for comparisons based on price increases, vendor or specification changes. Other functions are systems maintenance and management, including upkeep of regional order profiles, creation & management of the VPB catalogue items. you will build “Mini-Bills” to improve efficiently in pricing and quantifying variations and options to be added to the master BOQs. You will support & facilitate maintenance of ACC take-off templates, Databuild recipes and framework for VPB updates. Key Responsibilities:
Assist external stakeholders in production of new Master designs BOQ's, review & update
Refresh BOQ's on a monthly basis, record summary/ pricing details and manage registers
Create new product framework, produce retail pricelists & update in Salesforce
Production of Display Homes BOQ's, Manage pricing, create databases and update accordingly
Manage price variance issues based on feedback from accounts, Estimating and procurement teams
Complete cost analysis for procurement teams
Update sales specifications and facilitate ACC templates
About You:
Qualifications:
Tertiary:
Degree or Certificate IV in Building & Construction Management
Professional:
2 years experience in a similar role
Exposure to the Class 1 residential Construction sector (Highly desirable)
Working knowledge of the Building Code and regulations
Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
Experience with SAP, AAC, DataBuild & relevant Estimating software
Skills:
