SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Assistant Security Manager will be responsible in managing, and providing leadership to the Security Department. As Assistant Manager, they will ensure adherence to the day to day operations of the Security Department in accordance with PURE Canadian Gaming company standards, policies and procedures and the terms and conditions regulated by AGLC.

JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for the administration/updating of the Emergency Protocol Procedures (EPP’S) and ensure security officers are fully trained in an emergency.
- Responsible for the administration/updating of the Security Policies and Procedures and ensure adherence.
- Scheduling of staff and the administration/updating of the Staff Schedule, ensuring staff are given sufficient notice of schedule changes.
- Administration and timely input into KRONOS (Employee Attendance Tracking System).
- As Assistant Manager will be responsible for the administration and timely submission of staff merit increases.
- Ensure Security Officers are certified in the AGLC Smart Training Programs and licensing in accordance with the terms and conditions regulated by AGLC.
- Administration of Employee Evaluations on a timely basis and ensure disciplinary processes are in place.
- Updating of the VSE (Voluntary Self Exclusion) and INDEF Binders.
- Remain current with the AGLC Self Exclusion Program and be proficient in the completion of VSE Agreements with participants.
- Infuse the Casino with energy, enthusiasm and liveliness by being an exemplary model of our service values and company culture. They will build strong relationships with guests and foster loyalty by personally, and through the team, act as a leader by example.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language and will develop and maintain positive working relationships. They will support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of guest and employees.
- Remain current on company promotions and industry trends.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by PURE Canadian Gaming.
REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma

Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

Casino Security functions seven (7) days a week, twenty four (24) hours a day. All leaders and associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move from an accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, it is understood that business determines the number of hours worked, and that some weeks as leaders we may be schedule to work fewer than forty four (44) hours, and on other weeks we may be scheduled to work more than forty four (44) hours per week.
