The successful candidate will be responsonsible for the management of a multi-segment team for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Responsible for the implementation of Imperial Dade Canada’s Multi-Segment Action Plans specific to the Saskatchewan and Manitoba territory.  Achieve segment sales and profitability targets.  Management and supervision of 9 direct reports.  Leading the sales team in alignment with the Imperial Dade Canada’s vision, and living the IDC values.

Responsibilities: 
- Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve gross profit targets. 
- Manage the maintenance and growth of existing business in the market area. 
- Develop and execute strategies to further penetrate existing accounts and to develop/acquire new accounts with specified market segments. 
- Establish clearly defined sales and gross profit objectives for each member of the sales team that are linked with regional and branch objectives. 
- Manage expenses and work within fiscal budget. 
- Develop multi-level relationships with key customers. 
- Develop relationships with strategic and primary vendors. 
- Responsible for the regular follow-up and successful completion of Sales Representatives’ target account initiatives. 
- Must be available to travel throughout the territory. 
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets within a competitive environment 
- Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to effectively interact with customers (internal and external) to identify and meet individual needs. 
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced customer focused business environment with excellent multi-tasking skills. 
- Solid knowledge of MS-Office applications, including Excel; experience with SalesForce.com an asset. 
- Strong planning and organizational skills. 
- Above average verbal, written and presentation skills. 
- Provide supervision, coaching, guidance and direction to sales staff. 
- Proven track record of above average performance in the areas of selling skills and people management. 
- Thorough understanding of Imperial Dade Canada’s target markets and the key customers within the Facility Solutions and Packaging market. 
- Proven organizational, planning and leadership skills. 
- University degree within sales or marketing; or equivalent experience. 
- 3+ years of strong B2B sales management experience. 
- Sales and sales management in the healthcare,  facility management and janitorial industry, an asset. 
- Experience dealing effectively with mid and senior level executives, and independent business owners. 
Working/Other Conditions:
- Hybrid work model.
- 30-40% travel required
