Zulu Alpha Kilo is looking for an Associate Communications Strategy Director to join our growing team. This team is focused on bridging the gap between creative and media to ensure our creative ideas are seen in the right context. This role will require strong digital and social expertise, integrated media thinking and a willingness to break the status quo.
Overview:
The Associate Communications Strategy Director plays an important role within the planning team and the agency. Their role is to not only help direct and execute digital programs but also provide ongoing strategic counsel to other disciplines. They should play a visible role with client partners and act as the “connective tissue” across teams.
Responsibilities:
Owns comms. strategy deliverables including engagement frameworks, campaign rollouts, campaign ecosystems, channel strategies, and tactical briefs to map out how creative ideas come to life across platforms.
Be a strategic counselor to Brand Strategy and Creative teams, extending core ideas across multiple audience touchpoints, ensuring work is built for platforms (formats, placements, etc.) and business objectives.
Lead day-to-day client conversations, serving as a strategic advisor and thought partner.
Drive collaboration with IAT partners, especially media, to ensure a strong connection between message and medium.
Oversee the creative process and help to amplify ideas with cultural trends, platform thinking to provide appropriate recommendations or watchouts.
Qualifications:
6-8+ years in communications/connection, digital or social strategy at a creative agency (or equivalent).
Proven track record partnering with creative teams from brief, to concept, and execution.
Successfully launched multiple integrated campaigns into the marketplace
Analytical thinker and problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills; confident with senior clients and cross-discipline teams.
Able to juggle multiple work streams and stakeholders.
Mentored and supervised junior strategists.
