To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing The Capacity Management & Optimization team in Operations Transformation is accountable for partnering with operations leaders to optimize capacity management, including enhancing productivity and cost management and developing solutions that provide greater visibility into volume tracking, processing times, workflow and workforce management in support of our clients and stakeholders. This team also leads the Infrastructure Service Maturity program, which is an operations excellence framework that outputs targeted deliverables for execution to contribute to advancing operations service maturity. As the Consultant of Capacity Management Solutions, you will work closely with service leaders and business SMEs to support and deliver on initiatives requiring unique solutions to optimize capacity management for our service partners. The Consultant, Capacity Management Solutions is responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions that provide capacity management analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions, to identify opportunities, and to makes recommendations for management’s use. This role will develop solutions leveraging self-serve tools such as Alteryx, Azure DevOps, Tableau, and Power Platform (BI, Automate, Apps) to deliver digitized capacity solutions and capacity modelling. This role works autonomously on day-to-day work, researching best practices, tools, and systems for reporting and data analysis and exercise independent judgement in identifying and recommending sustainable and scalable solutions that best fits the capacity management needs of the service partners. How you'll succeed Problem Solving and Business Effectiveness - Identify and recommend changes that enhance operations whether through technology or other processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Capacity Management and Forecasting – Understanding of capacity management principles including balancing supply and demand metrics, productivity, utilization, unit processing times and volumes tracking Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong working relationships with Infrastructure senior leaders, operations leaders, and finance partners. Work effectively with a variety of individuals and groups at various levels in a constructive and collaborative manner to contribute to achieving business objectives. Partner with Service leaders to optimize business performance in capacity management and to optimize our workforce planning process Communication - Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, processes, and technology solutions to others with different disciplinary backgrounds. Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation. Automation and Tooling development – strong understanding of self-serve automation and tooling capabilities using enterprise tools including and not limited to Alteryx, Python, Tableau, Azure Dev Ops, MS Power-Platform etc. Who you are You demonstrate experience in having a process mindset and Data analysis (Alteryx), BI Tools (Tableau, PowerBI), Databases (SAS, Oracle, SQL Server), Automation and coding (VBA, Python, MS PowerAutomate, Ansible), experience with large data models/modelling and preparing data mapping and requirements specific to KPI’s. You have a degree/diploma: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline. MBA or Master degree with specialization on Advanced Analytics, ML or AI is considered a plus.
