About the Role
The Student Affairs Officer, Scheduling and Planning develops, and implements all programs and activities related to course offerings, curriculum, and scheduling. The Student Affairs Officer develops, plans, implements and evaluates the short and long-term scheduling and course planning strategies and programming in order to meet the faculty's goals and objectives. The role develops and administers the course planning activities and processes for Beedie School of Business and is the expert within these areas and provides advice and administrative support on key academic issues to all prospective and registered students in accordance with University and Faculty policies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience in areas such as post-secondary academic program administration, academic advising, student engagement, and planning; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Excellent knowledge of university academic programming and advising.
Excellent knowledge of secondary and post-secondary education environments.
Excellent knowledge of course scheduling and planning.
Excellent knowledge of student information systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and qualitative analytical software applications (i.e. Tableau).
