The Business Intelligence Engineering Manager serves as a transformative leader
who orchestrates the convergence of data innovation and business strategy across
Amazon's global IT operations. This role oversees the development and
maintenance of critical data assets serving multiple business units, including:
IT Services, IT Product and Development, Tech Sourcing (TSI), Enterprise
Engineering
The role manages an extensive data ecosystem including: Data warehouse and Data
lake environments, multiple AWS services like Athena, S3, Glue, RedShift,
Neptune, reporting tools like Q, Tableau and Grafana.

The BIE Manager exists at the intersection of technology and business strategy,
driving innovation while maintaining focus on delivering customer value through
data-driven insights across the entire IT Services landscape.
Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics
experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics
team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine
learning software Preferred Qualifications: - 4+ years of working with very
large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling,
infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and
environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience

The base salary for this position ranges from $110,100/year up to $183,900/year.
Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of
compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
