Day (United States of America) Department: 300 - 770000 PPP - Anesthesiology - Professional Position Description: Will perform pre-operative evaluations including obtaining a history and physical and assess the current status of chronic medical problems to assist the Anesthesiologist to determine if the patient is at an optimal state for surgery. Will become educated in the appropriate management of the pre-operative patient. Will promote cost containment in a manner, which will not infringe on the quality of patient care The RN assures that the standards for the professional RN scope of practice in the clinical setting are maintained. Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana. Pen-operative experience preferred. Decision making and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal/Human relation skills.
