We are seeking a Site Project Safety Coordinator to act on the owner’s behalf during the execution of major earthworks and multidisciplined projects in an industrial refinery setting.
The Site Project Safety Coordinator will be responsible for the daily execution of the owner’s Safety Program as it relates to the work. Communication and daily coordination will be required between the owner’s Engineering Consultants, the Engineers' sub-consultants, the General Contractor, the General Contractor's sub-contractors, the Site Project Safety Coordinator, Operations and Maintenance Departments, Environmental Engineering Services, and various other project stakeholders.
The Site Project Safety Coordinator will report and take direction from the Chief Engineering Manager. Hours of work will vary but will generally be 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday. Overtime will be required. The position will be required from January to December 2026, with future years to be determined.

Minimum five (5) years of experience working as a field Site Project Safety Coordinator on industrial projects
Post-secondary education in a technical field
Recognized safety professional designation (e.g., CRSP, NCSO, or equivalent)
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret standard construction drawings
Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
Proven ability to develop and review safe work plans, field hazard assessments, investigations, and action plans
Demonstrated leadership, supervision, and coaching abilities
