The Cyber Defence Initiative Development Department is responsible for improving cyber defence monitoring, investigation and operations. As a senior cloud security advisor, you play a key role in strengthening Desjardins Group’s security posture. You help develop priorities for the Security Office and handle complex files related to information security, data protection, physical security and fraud prevention. You act as a cloud computing expert for governance teams, providing well-informed recommendations and ensuring effective alignment with multiple stakeholders. Your leadership and ability to simplify technical issues are key to driving high-impact projects forward. More specifically, you will be required to : Serve as a technical expert on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders. Help implement and upgrade security solutions. Negotiate with suppliers as part of security-related projects or initiatives. Communicate needs and requirements for security-related solutions, processes and tools in plain language. Design and implement security infrastructure tailored to the organization’s needs. Draft clear, structured technical documentation adapted to the needs of stakeholders. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of six years of relevant cybersecurity experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, GCP, PCR) and infrastructure security Experience with orchestrators or CICD tools like DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, BitBucket and GitHub Experience with agile methodology for large-scale projects Knowledge of French is required Ability to present needs and requirements in a clear, simple way Knowledge of general security concepts for cross-sector capabilities: identity and access management, data management, logging, automation and monitoring General knowledge of infrastructure such as proxy, firewalls, Active Directory, DNS and telecommunications (network interconnections) Knowledge of automation, branch and API principles Action oriented, Communicates effectively, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Strategic mindset #LI-Hybrid Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
