The Personal Services Analytics and Data Solutions Department is responsible for supporting the various sectors to help them meet their analytics needs. As a data engineering advisor, you help develop solutions for collecting, integrating, consolidating, cleaning, sorting and transparently mining data. You assist clients on development initiatives that involve scaling data mining solutions and designing platforms that are adapted to business needs. More specifically, you will be required to: Identify the analytics needs based on feedback from users. Produce and document data mapping specifications. Implement, monitor, maintain and improve a wide range of systems that meet business needs. Design and build data ingestion pipelines and data transformation processes. Develop algorithms, prototypes and proofs of concept within projects. Identify opportunities to improve systems based on trends and behaviours, and recommend updates. Help develop procedures and document technical solutions. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including 2 years in data analytics Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Relevant experience using agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban Experience with ELT tools Knowledge of French is required Knowledge of Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of languages: SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures/functions Knowledge of the continuous delivery framework Knowledge of multidimensional databases Knowledge of data security (for example, access model, data protection) Knowledge of data transformation tools, including data build tool (dbt) Knowledge of Azure MLOps and advanced analytics Action oriented, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Strategic mindset Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
