Job Description: Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))

Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
This position will support LTC.
Working Monday to Friday 0800-1630.
Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
Acute care adult and pediatric clinical nutrition experience is preferred.
HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
The caseload for this position will include adult acute care.
This position works weekends on a rotation basis.
Experience in nutrition support will be considered an asset.
Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.
