Job Description: The senior dietitian reports to an Interprofessional manager and will practice as a clinical dietitian. The senior dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. The senior dietitian supervises, and promotes the activities of registered dietitians in a designated unit within the area of the integrated health services (ihs) to ensure that patients referred to that service receive high quality nutrition intervention. The senior dietitian is responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients. The senior dietitian collaborates in the development, evaluation and continuing education of dietetic interns and other health care professionals of the Saskatoon Health Region. Position is responsible for planning and assessing treatment and practice protocols.
