Your role Radio-Canada’s Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence team is looking for a Senior Adviser. Your role will be to provide input, guidance and support to the organization in activating the strategic priorities of CBC/Radio-Canada French Services. More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to operationalize strategic priorities and provide guidance to decision-makers on their strategic road map. You will need strong analytical, interpersonal and oral presentation skills to achieve your objectives. You will carry out these tasks in close consultation with all internal teams. You will also help foster synergy between activities within the team and continually come up with creative ways to inspire the organization. Your responsibilities Lead strategic planning initiatives to support leadership teams in their decision-making. Review strategic options based on internal and external analysis, and make recommendations. Facilitate group discussions and brainstorming sessions. Create and deliver presentations for various committees. Stay current on media industry trends to support strategic thinking. Write strategic communications material (executive summaries, reports, presentations, newsletters, etc.). Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following: University degree in media studies, management, marketing or a related field. Minimum five years’ related experience in the media industry, with a strong understanding of the environment. Strong analytical skills. Excellent writing skills. Ability to see the big picture in order to simplify and explain complex topics. Creative mind and ability to challenge the status quo with new ideas and recommendations. Strong skills in delivering compelling presentations to large groups and leadership teams. Ability to facilitate group discussions and brainstorming sessions. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment. Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners. Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written) an asset. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
