This includes LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers and cloud connectivity. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of network services that support clinical and administrative operations across the organization. Responsibilities & Duties: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud connectivity. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability. Manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols to safeguard hospital data and systems. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain compliance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Lead network upgrades and expansion projects, ensuring scalability and alignment with strategic IT goals. Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures. Provide Tier 3 support for network-related incidents and service requests. Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure network services meet operational needs. Contribute to IT strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Mentor junior network staff and contribute to team development initiatives. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity standards. What you bring to the role: Minimum 10 years’ experience in network administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Minimum Cisco CCNP required, CCIE preferred. Strong working knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management. Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments (Azure preferred). Proven experience implementing network security measures and compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Experience with ITIL practices, (e.g. Change Enablement, Problem Management) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive results.
