Partners Community Health (PCH) is a new not-for-profit organization, focused on bringing healthcare services together around the needs of people living in Mississauga and West Toronto. PCH currently operates two new state-of the-art LTC homes and community hub in West Mississauga. The new homes have a combined 632-beds and be part of PCH’s larger strategy that introduce innovative and inclusive programs and services and new models of care delivery. Position Summary
Partners Community Health is seeking an experienced Manager, Digital and IT Operations to lead end-to-end IT and digital services and solutions while ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services.
This role is responsible for planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of IT operations, optimizing processes to align with business and user needs.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision to drive digital innovation and IT excellence.
Key Responsibilities
IT Leadership & Strategy
Develop, implement, and maintain an IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with departments to understand needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
Align IT initiatives with business goals for both short-term efficiency and long-term growth.
Recommend and implement technology investments and operational improvements.
Operations & Systems Management
Oversee daily IT operations and deliver exceptional support with a strong customer service mindset.
Manage networks, cloud services, end-user devices, and office IT infrastructure.
Provide hands-on technical support for critical incidents and complex troubleshooting.
Design and refine IT services, processes, and change management strategies.
Analyze departmental needs, identify risks, and propose data-driven improvements.
Maintain and secure IT systems, ensuring updates and upgrades are effectively managed.
Track IT service performance metrics, prepare leadership reports, and drive improvement actions.
Provide application support for clinical, HRIS, and financial systems.
Support employee onboarding and enhance user experience through responsive service.
Manage inbound IT requests, analyze trends, and implement preventive measures.
Serve as the escalation point for critical incidents and coordinate timely resolutions.
Manage the IT operations budget and implement cost-control measures.
Lead implementation of new digital tools and applications across departments.
IT Asset Management & Vendor Relationships
Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and inventory, including hardware, software, and licensing.
Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure performance and value.
Monitor contracts and service delivery to ensure compliance with terms.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to optimize vendor performance and cost-effectiveness.
Lead IT projects (upgrades, migrations, rollouts) to ensure successful and timely completion.
Balance IT budgeting between cost management and strategic investment.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and support a team of IT professionals, aligning efforts with organizational priorities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, security, and continuous improvement.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
Standardize IT processes to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Implement cybersecurity roadmaps and ensure protection of digital assets and data.
Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of IT experience, including leadership roles overseeing teams and budgets.
Proven record of leading digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives.
Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing IT budgets and vendor contracts.
Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
