Job Description
What you’ll be responsible for:
Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals
Classifying non-ferrous materials and identifying the type of material
Weighing materials
Operating the forklift
Performing daily maintenance
Carrying out general site maintenance
Keeping property and equipment in good condition
Cleaning your workspace at the end of your shift
Entering data into the RECY system
Providing prices to customers
Delivering excellent customer service
Assisting with torch cutting as needed
Preparing shipments and receiving materials
Wearing personal protective equipment
Qualifications

You have experience operating a forklift (an asset)
You have experience in metal recycling (an asset)
You have good knowledge of metals (an asset)
You are able to work in a dusty environment
You can work outdoors in all weather conditions
You are in good physical condition
