About the role
The Marketing Operations Manager reports directly to the Head of Marketing and serves as the backbone of ZestyAI’s revenue engine, owning the systems, data, and insights that drive growth. You’ll design and optimize the marketing tech stack, build intelligent automations, and deliver analytics that help every GTM function move faster and operate smarter.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a builder who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and strategy. You’ll not only improve how we run campaigns, you’ll redefine how we run marketing. You’ll also champion the use of AI tools and automation to streamline execution, uncover insights, and scale efficiency across every channel.
What you will do
Marketing Technology Leadership
Lead the strategy, design, and optimization of ZestyAI’s marketing technology stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Unbounce, and others).
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance automation, personalization, and cross-system intelligence.
Partner with IT and Sales Operations to ensure a seamless data ecosystem connecting marketing, sales, and customer success.
Own vendor relationships and drive adoption, governance, and ROI across the tech stack.
Automation, AI, and Data Excellence
Design intelligent automations and data pipelines that eliminate manual work and improve speed and precision.
Implement and champion the use of AI tools—for example, to optimize workflows, generate performance insights, improve data hygiene, and increase campaign efficiency.
Maintain a clean, compliant marketing database and continuously improve segmentation, enrichment, and lead scoring.
When automation isn’t possible, roll up your sleeves to build, fix, or execute, ensuring the work gets done with speed and precision.
Analytics, Insights, and Optimization:
Design and maintain executive-level dashboards that track performance from first touch to closed-won.
Develop attribution and forecasting models that quantify marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.
Translate data into actionable insights that guide marketing investment and strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to align on shared KPIs, funnel metrics, and forecasting.
Train and mentor team members on marketing tools, reporting best practices, and data fluency.
Establish best practices and governance frameworks that support agility without sacrificing quality or compliance.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in a marketing operations role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company, with hands-on experience managing Salesforce and marketing automation platforms like ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, and Outreach.
Technical Skills: Deep experience with Salesforce, marketing automation (ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or Marketo), and analytics tools. Knowledge of integration platforms and data visualization tools.
ABM Knowledge: Experience building and executing ABM strategies, including segmentation, lead scoring, and attribution.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to design forward-looking architectures that drive efficiency, insight, and scalability.
Analytical Strength: Proficiency in pipeline analysis, attribution modeling, and ROI optimization.
Leadership: Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and influencing change across marketing, sales, and operations teams.
