ACT372H1S L5101 – Basic Ratemaking Methods for P&C Insurance
This course covers the basic ratemaking methods for P&C insurance. It assumes that students are familiar with traditional reserving diagnoses and projection methods. The syllabus would introduce concepts related to earning of exposures, on-level factors, catastrophe loading, large loss loading and credibility.

Qualifications: Two years industry experience working in the Actuarial field, ACAS or ASA.
Description of duties: Any or all of the following: grading term tests, invigilating term tests and final exams, grading homework and/or quizzes, setting tutorial quizzes.
This position includes the completion of any course work and marking not finished by April 30, 2026.
