Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Home Equity Financing (HEF) is the leading lender of residential mortgages in Canada, and RBC’s single largest business with over $400 Billion in assets. As the Senior Manager, HEF Acquisition, you will play an integral role in managing all aspects of acquisition including the development and execution of our strategic acquisition plan. The successful candidate will lead work to uncover key trends and opportunities to accelerate acquisition marketshare aligned to our stretch goals and Empower 2030. They will also work with key partners to execute our client and sales facing go-to-market activities and ensuring research and corporate communications levers also align to delivering material acquisition. What will you do? Lead activities with respect to the vision, strategy, and general management of HEF acquisition activities including but not limited to research and testing that supports our vision Understand and evaluate current state mortgage acquisition and take into consideration, distribution objectives, sales forces strategies, client preferences and client value propositions to uncover opportunities for future enhancements. Strategy includes consideration of customer, value proposition, channel, competition, macro- economic factors, product & innovation, marketing, pricing & fees and profitability. Collaborate with Partners (Insights, Segments, Risk, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Distribution) and lead through impact and influence to design & deliver new product launches and/or enhancements to the market Source and implement new partnerships that are along the client journey and align with broader team channel & distribution strategy including development of tactics that will support increased volumes What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Expert in leveraging data and insights to drive strategies and tactics to solve acquisition opportunities / problems Requires an understanding and passion for the Home Equity Financing business Proven experience on bringing key projects from idea conception to market launch, acquisition or digital experience is an asset Strong business acumen with a proven track record of business casing and business communication skills An excellent ability to work cross functionally & lead through impact and influence Key Leadership Competencies include: Strategic Focus, Building Future Capability Leading Change & Continuous Renewal and Accountability. Natural curiosity and fast learner with a passion for acquisition. Requires well developed written and oral communication skills.
