Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our AMER Global Delivery Centre (GDC). This role is crucial for driving delivery excellence, shaping regional IT delivery, and ensuring the successful execution of high-impact initiatives across the Americas (AMER) region. The Lead will be responsible for overseeing GDC resource involvement in projects, driving the delivery excellence of their contributions across the region. The Lead will foster continuous improvement and build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders. This is an in-office position with an expected travel requirement of approximately 30% within the region. Job Description Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Working with regional stakeholders, define and implement operational best practices and project management methodologies for customer project delivery within GDC AMER. Ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables, managing resource allocation and proactively resolving technical issues. Resource Management (Nearshore/Offshore): Strategically manage and optimize the utilization of nearshore and offshore resources to ensure efficient project delivery, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality outcomes. This includes collaborating with global resourcing teams to identify, onboard, and integrate external talent effectively, leveraging common delivery models in the Americas. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with AMER and global stakeholders to align priorities, provide transparent updates, and keep everyone informed through regular governance forums. Act as the primary escalation point for client and internal teams across all project stages. Delivery Leadership: Lead and collaborate with stakeholders on the delivery of high-impact initiatives, including platform rollouts, process improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and global tool implementations. This involves building structured delivery plans, owning progress, and actively managing blockers and risks. Team Leadership & Development: Provide project management guidance and training as required. Foster continuous improvement within the delivery community and contribute to strengthening global delivery practices. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and communication of strategic plans, analyzing market dynamics, customer needs, and growth scenarios. Ways of Working: Champion the consistent use of fit-for-purpose delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and blended approaches) and flex delivery style to suit project and team needs. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Extensive experience (e.g., 15+ years) in SaaS and software implementation experience, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and managing large-scale technology projects. Deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies and strategies (Agile, Waterfall, blended approaches). Strong experience in a customer-facing role and managing site-based solutions, projects, or installations. Proven experience in managing and leveraging nearshore and offshore delivery models. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across regional and global teams. Commercially savvy with experience managing risk, governance, and profitability. Proficiency in project tracking tools like JIRA.
