MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (Garage Mechanic) Hourly Rate: $51.649 (One Vacancy) Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an experienced individual to become part of our multi-skilled maintenance teams while contributing to our ongoing success. The City of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes. As an ideal candidate you have: A valid Interprovincial Red Seal Truck & Coach Certificate and/or a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certificate. A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Strong computer skills including experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities include: Performing maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicle and equipment types. Diagnosing and repairing mobile vehicle air conditioning systems, electrical circuitry, hydraulic and hydrostatic systems, and fuel injection systems.
