Job Description
Join our team where you will be responsible for conducting and, where required, creating assessments related to Fit for Duty Testing, Physical Demands Analysis and Ergonomic Workstation Assessments. This position is also responsible for delivering various wellness program functions including lunch and learns as well as other forms of wellness teaching, health risk assessments, health fairs, and other client focused initiatives while supporting our shared goal of delivering high quality employee health solutions.
What we look for:
Strong clinical and functional assessment skills in an industrial setting. Experience working with office workstation assessments is an asset. Basically, Kinesiology is your superpower.
A passion for delivering excellent ergonomic and occupational health care services to a working population. This position is all about people and how you ensure a positive experience for our client’s employees.
Demonstrated experience using an electronic medical record system (and you may even boast about your excellent data entry skills).
Someone who can wear many hats in a day and look good doing it.
Compliance orientation with a penchant for all that good occupational health related legislation (WSIA, AODA, OHSA, HRC just to name a few).
Deadlines are part of this role, so you gotta love them!
A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. There isn't a job that is too big or too small at Apex.
Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario (CKO) with experience completing Physical Demands Analyses and Ergonomic Risk Assessments.
