Job Description This is a Senior DataStage Developer role within Corporate Treasury Technology team. You will be responsible for delivering applications designed to resolve business system needs while working closely with various partners across IT. You will be involved in all aspects of the development and or maintenance process within a well-established team. The preferred candidate should have hands-on strong development experience in IBM DataStage. What will you do? Coordinate design / implementation phases for projects, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs and unit test plans Provide estimates on activities/tasks required to perform design, coding and unit testing, improving accuracy over time Facilitate business meetings for technical design, problem solving and task implementation Support Deployment / Releases and provide resolutions to technical issues found in Production environment. Possible off-hours support for urgent technical issues What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related technical field with 3+ years of work experience as an ETL Developer (DataStage) or Technical Systems Analyst Strong technical experience working with IBM DataStage, SQL and Shell scripting; hands-on working knowledge of SQL Server Strong analytical skillset, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases. Experience working on projects developing and implementing applications for business stakeholders Dig deep into performance, scalability, capacity and reliability problems to resolve them Experience with design patterns, data structures and algorithms, strong mathematical/ analytical background Nice-to-have Work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment Experience or knowledge of a scheduler such Autosys, Stonebranch, Zeke or another Know-how on Snowflake, Cloud, Gen AI areas Working knowledge of Confluence and/or Jira Experience in agile or design thinking methodologies Experience with SCM tools such as GitHub Experience working with DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Helios), continuous integration/delivery, automated testing (unit, functional, performance) Prior exposure to work with internal resources and offshore delivery center operating in a time zone different from the primary work location What’s in it for you?
