What will you do?
Strategy & Advisory
Advise leadership on ESG trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business strategy and operations.
Support the development and execution of the company’s ESG roadmap, policies, and initiatives.
Align ESG efforts with international frameworks (e.g., GRI).
Reporting & Compliance
Lead ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting to meet internal and external requirements.
Prepare disclosures for sustainability reports, regulatory filings, and investor communications.
Monitor evolving ESG regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Operations, Legal, Internal Audit, Marketing) to embed ESG practices across the organization.
Engage with investors, regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders on ESG topics.
Develop ESG-related training, awareness sessions, and Team Member engagement initiatives.
Performance & Measurement
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure ESG performance and progress against goals.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and risk mitigation related to ESG issues.
Benchmark against peers and industry best practices.
What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s an asset).
2+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability reporting and /or communications, corporate responsibility, or related roles.
Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and Sustainability reporting framework (E.g. GRI).
Excellent analytical, research, and project management skills.
Ability to interpret data, build performance narratives, and distill complex insights with precision.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to juggle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
Professional certifications (e.g., ESG Certificate, SASB FSA Credential, GRI Standards Training).
Experience in stakeholder engagement and materiality assessments.
Knowledge of climate-related risk assessment, DEI initiatives, or governance best practices.
Strong understanding of environmental and social sustainability topics.
