You are creative, an inspiring leader and able to take on several projects at a time while meeting tight deadlines.:As Thought Leadership and Event Coordinator, you will be required to : You will be responsible in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, to come up with insightful topics and aid in coordinating content and speakers notes for presentations, events, client forums and corporate speaking engagements You will aid in identifying events and speaking opportunities and work with various business lines to maximize our exposure at each You will aid in coordinating events to ensure our leadership and business development teams have everything required to host a successful event (including booth set-up and takedown, gifts, swag, travel and accommodations and more) You will determine and coordinate involvement in local sponsorship opportunities to enhance our exposure across Canada Manage our sponsorship budget Content Development Create and manage a events driven content calendar aligned with business goals and industry trends Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and write insightful and engaging content approaches including for speaking engagements, articles, white papers, case studies and blog posts Ensure all content is consistent with business needs and on brand Thought Leadership Position the company as a thought leader in the group benefits and retirement savings industry Work in collaboration with marketing, group benefits and retirement savings teams to develop and execute on a thought leadership strategy positioning opportunities for speaking engagements, panel discussions, and media contributions and create content for each Identify speaking engagements, panel discussions, media interactions and keynote speakers in support of thought leadership plan and develop speaker notes for each Monitor industry trends and provide insights to inform initiatives The role may evolve over time to play a supporting role in organizing and executing industry conferences, webinars, and client and partner events What we offer Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.
