SPM Automation (Canada) Inc. is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in our Windsor office. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Accounting Manager in day-to-day financial tasks.
Prepare and process financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Collaborate with the HR Department to assist in various human resources functions.
Maintain employee records and assist in onboarding processes.
Coordinate HR-related events and activities.
Support the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and ensuring timely payments.
Assist in reconciling vendor statements and resolving payment discrepancies.
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Maintain office supplies and ensure a well-organized work environment.
Leverage experience in a manufacturing environment to understand and support the needs of other departments.
Coordinate administrative tasks related to manufacturing projects and orders.
Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors/Diploma in Accounting or Finance from accredited University/College required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with ERP software and HR systems is a plus.
Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
Must have excellent Communication, Time Management, and Organizational Skills
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, terminology, and documentation is an asset.
Ability to adapt administrative support to the specific needs of special purpose machines and automation system
Must be Detail Orientated
Maintain a clean and safe environment
