Job Description
CEDA is looking for a Temporary Recruitment Coordinator based out of our Fort McMurray office to join our team for a January to April term! Be part of an established organization recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!
This role is ideal for an individual eager to enhance their career in recruitment, strengthen their process optimization skills and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. In addition to providing full-cycle recruitment support for Turnaround projects and being the main point of contact for new hires, the Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for building, maintaining and engaging with a candidate pool dedicated to our Mobile Workforce.
Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate data management, while handling a high volume of onboarding. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure an exceptional candidate and new hire experience with prompt and professional customer service
Manage and maintain data in systems (Applicant Tracking System, CannAmm, etc.) and spreadsheets with exceptional attention to detail
Support the team by creating job requisitions, managing applications, prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and monitoring inboxes to keep processes running smoothly
Provide verbal offers, write and deliver written employment offer letters, and regret unsuccessful candidates as required
Administer the onboarding process for new hires, including issuing new hire packages, maintaining electronic employee files, collecting and uploading required documents, coordinating pre-employment testing, and attending new hire orientations
Liaise with the Training, Logistics and Mobile Workforce departments to coordinate scheduling of orientations, training, travel, and accommodations
Establish, maintain and engage with the turnaround candidate pool
Participate in local and out-of-town career fairs, info sessions, and conferences as needed.
Embrace versatility by taking on additional tasks and cross training with other HR team members as needed, contributing to the dynamic nature of the role

Role Specifications:
5+ years of work experience in an employee-facing administrative or coordinator role is required
Proven experience managing a high volume work load and coordinating multiple processes simultaneously is required
Prior work experience in a recruitment or onboarding role is preferred
Flexibility is required for occasional work outside the regular schedule during peak staffing periods
We value candidates with industrial or oilfield service sector experience who also align with our company's culture which supports and empowers field-based crews
Valid Class 5 Drivers licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
