POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As an GTM Engineer at Valsoft, you will build the systems that power growth across our entire portfolio. This isn't a role focused on a single company's tech stack. You will have the unique opportunity to design, build, and optimize the go-to-market engines for multiple SaaS businesses, directly impacting their revenue and scale.
You will be the architect of our revenue operations, sitting at the intersection of marketing, sales, data, and systems. If you are a technical problem-solver who thinks in workflows, gets excited by automation, and wants to see your work directly translate into business growth, this is your chance to make a massive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect & Integrate the Tech Stack: Design, integrate, and maintain the core GTM infrastructure (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouses, enrichment tools) across our portfolio companies.
Build Automated Workflows: Create seamless, automated workflows for lead routing, scoring, nurturing sequences, and sales handoffs to eliminate manual bottlenecks.
Ensure Data Integrity & Insight: Build reliable data pipelines and models to ensure marketing, sales, and leadership have accurate, actionable data for decision-making.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Enable seamless communication and handoffs between marketing, sales, and customer success teams through system design and automation.
Experiment & Optimize: Continuously test and iterate on the GTM engine—setting up signals for customer intent and behavior and building workflows to respond to them.
REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a builder who is as comfortable discussing API endpoints as you are analyzing a sales funnel. You thrive in ambiguity and love connecting the dots between technology and revenue.
Technical Fluency: You have hands-on experience with APIs, automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make), and scripting (SQL is essential; Python is a major plus). You're proficient with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Data-Driven Mindset: You understand core GTM metrics like CAC, LTV, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates. You don't just report data; you use it to drive action and system improvements.
Business Acumen: You grasp the fundamentals of B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy and can translate business problems into technical solutions.
A Systems Thinker: You see the entire revenue engine from top to bottom and enjoy building scalable, repeatable processes.
An Excellent Communicator: You can effectively collaborate with and explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders..
