This design role will define future experiences that will have the greatest
impact on users thorough the joining and onboarding journey. This individual
should have a passion for empathizing with the needs and behaviors of people,
the business, and how to solve for them through design. This UX designer should
thrive in ambiguity, working directly with stakeholders, across engineering,
operations, research science and product management to identify strategic,
undefined opportunity areas to improve our experiences.
Key job responsibilities
• Partners with engineering and product management team members in the execution
and delivery of successful products and services, using a customer-focused,
iterative design process.
• Leads UX efforts by setting design direction, driving discussion and
activities, while participating in delivery, planning, and coordination efforts.
• Determines best UX solutions based on customer feedback and business goals,
identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the
solution and customer.
• Utilize storytelling and presentation skills to clearly communicate the design
strategy, outcomes, and deliverables to diverse stakeholders.
• Creates high quality deliverables and executes based on UX goals and
priorities while driving the success of overall UX team delivery by seeking
opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.
• Leverages, fosters and extends the use of established UX techniques,
templates, presentations, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions,
and materials; proposes new solutions or optimizes existing ones, and fosters UX
artifact reuse and consistency across team members and/or projects
A day in the life
Drawing from customer insights, business requirements, and research data, you
will be responsible for ideating on innovative solutions. Strong storytelling
and presentation skills are essential, as this UX designer will need to clearly
communicate the design strategy, outcomes, and deliverables to diverse
stakeholders and senior leadership.

people-focused solutions that streamline hiring processes for WW Stores, AWS,
Devices, and Talent Acquisition. As stewards of the employee lifecycle and

career mobility, workforce engagement, and operational needs management. We
prioritize customer-centricity by tailoring our capabilities and processes to

services. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction
designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst,
or Axure) Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of mass-market consumer web /
mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with
developers for implementation of designs

The base salary for this position ranges from $74,300/year up to $124,000/year.
Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of
compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
