Dog Walker (Casual) Key Responsibilities: Dog Walking: Safely walk dogs, ensuring they get the exercise and playtime needed. Pet Care: Provide fresh water, treats (if approved by pet owners), and maintain a safe environment for each dog. Basic Commands: Reinforce basic commands (e.g., sit, stay, heel) as directed by pet owners to promote good behaviour. Observation: Monitor the dog’s health and behaviour, reporting any concerns (such as changes in behaviour, appetite, or injuries) to the pet owner. Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with pet owners, providing updates as needed. Safety Protocols: Use secure leashes/harnesses, avoid encounters with unknown animals, and ensure dogs are always safe. Scheduling Flexibility: Adapt to the dog’s schedule, weather conditions, and last-minute client needs. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all duties. Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position. Knowledge and Skills: Experience with Dogs (Essential). Qualification in Dog Care (Desirable). Clean Driving Licence (Essential). Confidence with Sharp Dogs (Essential).
